The Little Death
An adaptation of Frank Wedekind's play Death and Devil (Tod und Teufel), interwoven with elements of Anton Chekhov's short story "A Nervous Breakdown" ("Pripadok"), The The Little Death observes the fateful intersection of four lives in the shadowed chambers of a 1910s brothel. Director Bret Wood chose Chris Tsambis as his creative partner on this after the two had previously collaborated on the short film The Other Half. Chris was the director of photography and co-editor on the film. Says Wood: "Chris's strengths as a d.p. go beyond his ability to light and shoot a scene. His broad visual vocabulary, and his experience as a director and an editor make him a vital creative partner on the set. " The Little Death was released early 2012 and is available on Netflix, Amazon, Vudu, and other retailers.
